It was the Respironics Inc. which established low invasiveness artificial breathing in the BiPAP series but it is ESPRIT that appeared as usual resuscitator. It is the structure which provided an exhalation-valve for BiPAP Vision but it is possible to do a low invasiveness artificial respiration, too, of course. The eye target which laid down an exhalation-valve is in the reduction of the oxygen demand and the reduction of the noise.

3. The outline of the mechanism
It is not the method which controls a direct intake gas flow rate in the number of rotations of the turbine like T Bird and it is the method which does the gas which was pressurized by the blower in the flow control at the intake valve and creates intake gas. 5. The control software
1) The trigger formula
Pressure trigger (0.1-20 cmH2O) or float rigger (0.5-20 LPM) can be chosen. But, in the NIPPV mode, it is only a float rigger. The base flow is trigger sensitivity + 3LPM.
VCV or PCV can be chosen. VCV can choose a dwindling wave or a square wave.
The trigger window is a variable-time method.
The intake flow rate is equal to or less than 10-40% of the peak rate of flow to the end-of-suction end recognition condition.
5)Rise Time
It is possible to choose in the range in 0.1-0.9 seconds.
6) Battery drive
It operates for about 30 minutes with the battery of the option. But, it fluctuates with the setting condition. If not needing the addition of oxygen, the oxygen plumbing is unnecessary.
7) The anaerosis back-up
It operates when detecting an anaerosis in 10-60 seconds. The alarm operates now and ventilates in beforehand set Apnea rate.
6. The operating method (Figure ; Operating panel of ESPRIT)
The operation chooses an item in the touchpanel, chooses value by the rotary knob and it fixes it with the entry key. With the mode setting screen, it chooses A/C, SIMV, CPAP being "DUREKA" and it prefers the kind of the active-ventilation to the inside of VCV, PCV, NPPV. (Figure ; Setting screen of ESPRIT) It sets value by the more necessary parameter, the alarm on it.
7. The alarm function
1) The alarm condition
There are normality, advanced urgency (red's blink), an urgent (the yellow and the pale yellow blink) condition of the inside and the low-level.

9. The maintenance
