AVIAN is a small resuscitator for the conveyance of the microprocessor control the driving-source of which is gas pressure. Depending on the specification, it has the performance that the use in the ward can be endured.

3. The outline of the mechanism (Figure ; Structure of Avian)
As for MPU, 80C31(8bit) is used. This opens and shuts Solenoid-controlled valve main solenoid valve and makes intake gas. FLOW CONTROL VALVE is the valve which controls an intake gas flow rate, and this is connected to "POTENSIYOME-TA-" and inputs the open condition of the valve to MPU. Exhalation-valve drive dense fog is found out from intake gas. Demand gas is 60 with Solenoid-controlled valve demand solenoid valve of the flow rate stationary-type, beginning when detecting a trigger The gas of LPM is supplied. Surplus gas is emitted from the exhalation-valve. When the airway pressure exceeds standard pressure, demand gas stops.
4. The operation (Figure ; Operating panel of Avian)
It chooses a mode, and it pushes the display change button which is prepared every control for the setting and it enters desired value. It sets an alarm, too, in the same way. It sets relieving pressure while seeing the value of PIP if there is need.
5. The monitor, the alarm
An airway pressure is displayed by the bargraph. It puts on PIP, MIP, Paw by the numeral display. There is an alarm of the high peak pressure, the low peak pressure, the battery voltage, anaerosis (20s). The anaerosis back-up (the A/C mode, 12 BPM) begins when there is an anaerosis. This can be canceled when pushing the reset button.
6. The maintenance
It does a feature check regularly. When there is not a long-term service, it charges in built-in battery. It does maintenance regularly.
7. The fault
At the time of the CPAP, SIMV mode, it consumes demand gas much. Few demand flow rates occur.
